Commissioned for a pole home up north of Myola. FNQ.
This monster is 8ft tall by 5 ft wide. Hadda build a huge easel to paint it. The birds are Wompoo Pidgeons. Theyre feeding on the fruit of an umbrella tree looking toward the east coastal sunrise.

very beautiful. all those leaves...it must have taken forever. i can easily imagine the gentle humid breeze on my arms and the relief and profound satisfaction that I've finally made it to the top of this hill! What a view.

Actually Jenny, do you ever use Atelier paints? or Derivan, Chroma, Chromacryl, A2, Archival or Jo Sonjas?
Theyre made by Jim Cobb, who lives a couple of hundred yards from here.
Its a view from Julatten over the Mowbray Valley looking east. Its about half an hour north of here.
