A commissioned piece by a retired Spanish Tiler. 40 yrs ago he asked his friend Juan to paint this, but Juan was a drunk and he died soon after starting. He had completed the construction lines and underpainted about a 3rd of the whole, completing only the section "Europa" and some of the characters in the center quadrant.
After retirement the Tiler asked me to complete it.
The original was by Andrea Pozzo between 1685 and 1694 on the ceiling of the Jesuit Church of SantIgnazio in Rome.

When I asked him why he wanted the scene painted, he simply said "eets a nice picture, you no".
