Where I live, water lilies are pretty prominent in the waterways around town.
Acrylic with gold micaceous pigment and impasto gel in the primer.

NO, Funny though, I started it in the morning around 11am. And every couple of hours my friends Sue would pop her head in on the way to the laundry and say Ooh thats coming along.
Then when Id finished it by 4 in the afternoon She stopped in again and said WOW... its amazing... I never knew paintings took SO long to Do!
Shed never seen one in progress and always though I just whipped em outta my butt like frizbees.
People have no perception of art sometimes. I was really proud of how fast it went.

Nice metaphore there, Greg. thanks for that o_0 But seriously, that's quick! I expected you to say a few days of dipping in and out of it. I know what you mean about some people though. I usually spend a few hours on each piece, and although they never actually say it, I just know that the friends/family who pass through and take a sneaky peek are saying "What's the friggin' hold up?!"
