Equilibrium

Every day they throw little gel capsules through the hole in our cell.
Sometimes some of us eat them. But we know we're just guinea pigs.
And sooner or later they come and take you.
Im starving beyond movement. My mind wanders.
Today I realise I no longer have a choice. If I don't take the pills, I will die soon.
And if I die I cant fight them. I drift in and out of consciousness.
Some days unnumbered pass and I feel my strength returning.
I begin talking to the others. Another man, a Dentist , has also been taking the pills. He wants to talk.

Hi Jenny. No Ive never done proper illustration. However my Sister and I are currently working on our second draft for a series of kids books for Penguin.
Its called "Nigel Stares".
Book one is "Nigel Stares at the Library"
In my files you'll see pics of a small boy with a soccerball etc. Thats him.
